- Run a sub 3 hr. Marathon
Personal: I am a former collegiate football player (offensive lineman) who took up running to lose weight, and in the process I have become addicted! I started running at 290 lbs. I am married and we are expecting our first child in September 2014. |

| Early PM: 8 easy downhill miles, right around an 8:00 min pace. A bit harder than I wanted to go, but I had some time constraints. Late PM: 90 straight minutes of basketball, my team kept winning so I kept playing, and playing hard! Overall it was a great day of exercise! |

| Overall a pretty easy run. I wanted it to be at an easier pace, but I wanted to get 8 miles in so I pushed it towards the end. Started @10 min pace then gradually worked it up til 6:47, then I cooled it down for .5 |

AM: Basketball on a Thursday morning, let's just say I played really good defense, and very little offense. . . . PM: 7 miles of good work. 2 up then 6x800 with 400 jogging between. Times were 3:19, 3:19, 3:19, 3:10, 3:12, 3:05. Then I cooled down til I hit 7 miles. Nice workout, but I definitely could have gone harder, which is a good sign. Hopefully this means a good time is coming my way by the great salt lake. |

| The only bad thing about the run is that I was on the treadmill, other than that things were good. First 14 were really boring, 8:34 avg pace. The last 4 I did a bit of progression starting at goal marathon pace. 7:30, 7:24, 7:19, 7:19. I didn't have much left after those 4, and so I walked for 5 minutes then headed home. |
