Personal:

I am a former collegiate football player (offensive lineman) who took up running to lose weight, and in the process I have become addicted! I started running at 290 lbs.  I am married and we are expecting our first child in September 2014.

Things didn't go great today, but I did have fun getting out and racing.  It was fun to see some fellow FRB'ers.  Anyways, my goal was to break 20 min today, so I was going to go out and try to run even splits @6:25.  The first mile was right on that, but then I started to cough, and fell WAY off the pace.  It sucked, and I ended up basically running slower than 10k pace the rest of the way. 7:03, 7:06 and I don't have my watch to tell what my last .11 was. I guess I'll just chalk this one up as a good experience, and a wake up call!
